Arthur Brown
Chairman & Director Mr. Brown served as CEO and Chairman of Hecla until retiring in 2006. During his 39 year tenure at Hecla he held many senior positions in operations including becoming the company's President in 1986, and Chairman and CEO in 1987. Mr. Brown serves as a director on the boards of AMCOL International Corporation (NYSE: ACO) where he also serves as a member of the audit and compensation committees. Mr. Brown is also a director of the Idaho Independent Bank. He is a former Director of the National Mining Association and served as a Director of The Gold Institute and The Silver Institute (Past President).
Warwick Smith
CEO & Director Mr. Warwick Smith has worked as a corporate development specialist for various public companies since 1999, bringing with him extensive media contacts and industry specific relationships. Mr. Smith founded and provided corporate development services to Riverside Resources Inc. (TSXV: RRI) in February 2007. After developing a team and securing financing, Riverside Resources was listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in August 2007. During his tenure Mr. Smith and the team at Riverside Resources Inc. successfully raised financing from numerous key strategic shareholders.
Eric Saderholm
Vice President, Exploration & Director Mr. Saderholm has over 25 years of experience in the minerals industry with leadership in exploration, project development, property management and mining. He has been integral to geologic teams that added over 18 million ounces of gold to reserve bases in Nevada, Washington and Peru. Mr. Saderholm was Vice President, Project Development at US Gold from August 2006 until early 2008. Prior to that position, he was at Newmont Mining Corp for 12 years where his final position was Carlin Trend Exploration Manager, Regional Geologist. At Newmont, he also held the positions of Chief Geologist at the Phoenix Mine, Lone Tree Complex and Mule Canyon Mine, all located in Nevada as well as Project Manager, Grupo Carachugo, Peru. In January of 2008 he co-founded Sirius Exploration, LLC and has been developing exploration projects throughout Nevada.
Ralph Rushton
Director Mr. Rushton, President of Radius Gold Inc., holds a B.Sc. in geology from Portsmouth University in the UK, a Master's degree in economic geology from the University of Alberta, and a Certificate in Business Communications from Simon Fraser University. Much of his 17 years' experience in mining and exploration was gained working as a geologist for the Anglo American group in Southern Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Douglas Ford
CFO & Director Mr. Ford is the Chief Financial Officer of Rockgate Capital Corp., Rockridge Capital Corp. Falkirk Resource Corp. and Bama Gold Corp. Since 1987, he has been the General Manager of Dockside Capital Group Inc., a private merchant banking and venture capital firm specializing in providing services to, and arranging funding for, emerging growth companies. Mr. Ford is a principal of Pemgroup. Mr. Ford has been a director of a number of public companies and he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia.
Michael Williams
Director Mr. Williams is currently the President of Full Metal Minerals, a Toronto Stock Exchange Venture (TSX: V-FMM) listed company that completed an Initial Public Offering in May 2004, and a Director and Advisor to several additional mining exploration companies. He is a co-founder of Full Metal Minerals, and is responsible for the company's corporate development, marketing and financing. Mr. Williams has significant contacts with both retail and institutional investors and has an extensive investment banking network. Mr. Williams was the Chairman of Underworld Resources (UW -- TSXV) until April 26, 2010 when Kinross Gold Corporation completed its acquisition of the company. He was previously Vice President of Atna Resources Ltd., a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company, where he developed and implemented all of the company's communication and investor relations programs from 1996 through to 2004. Prior to joining Atna Resources, Mr. Williams provided public relations counsel to various sectors including: mining, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, tourism, and government.
