Western Pacific Appoints New Corporate Secretary

 Vancouver, BC, Canada - October 27, 2014 - Western Pacific Resources Corp. ("Western Pacific" or "the Company") (TSX-V: WRP) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Sheryl Elsdon as Corporate Secretary of the Company.

Ms. Elsdon has worked in the public sector since 2005 and has extensive experience with both exploration companies and office management. She acts as in-house Corporate Secretary for each of McLeod William Capital Corporation's public exploration mining companies as well as for various other public companies listed on the CSE, TSX and TSX Venture Exchange. Ms. Elsdon also worked for Underworld Resources Inc. until its purchase by Kinross Gold Corporation in April 2010.

The Company would like to thank Sally Whittall for her contributions and efforts to the Company and wishes her all the best as she steps down as Corporate Secretary.
