Regarding Historic Resources and production and development at Deer Trail Mine
A PRODUCTION DECISION HAS NOT BEEN MADE AT THIS TIME.
The Deer Trail Mine property does not have NI 43-101 compliant reserves or resources, nor a positive mining study such as a feasibility, prefeasibility or a preliminary economic assessment. The specific technical and economic risks associated with the uncertainty and risk of failure are considered high.
Regarding Historic Resources at Mineral Gulch
At the time of the original reports by Pegasus, this material was categorized as reserves because the infrastructure was in place to extract the ore. Currently, the figures do not conform to the category of Reserves as defined in NI 43-101 standards because all of the infrastructure and processing plant have been removed and they are being treated as historical resources. While Western Pacific believes that the exploration work, QA/QC and production reconciliation carried out by Pegasus was of high quality, a Qualified Person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources, Western Pacific is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources, and the historical estimate should not be relied upon.
Regarding Historic Production and Heap leach at Mineral Gulch
The information regarding historic production statistics including but not limited to reports of tonnage, grade, recoveries, and metallurgical testing results, was obtained from historic data and is not NI 43-101 compliant. Although Western Pacific has not verified this data, management believes it is from a credible source.
Qualified Person
Eric Saderholm, B.Sc, Registered Member (Number 4145463RM), Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, is Western Pacific's Qualified Person for the purposes of NI 43 101. Mr. Saderholm has approved the scientific and technical information contained in Western Pacific's news releases, website, fact sheet and presentations.
